Enthusiastic Audiences

Wow! We have had some spectacular audiences for Honor In the Air... enthusiastic, engaged, inquisitive. It's all we'd hoped for.

On August 10 we had about 54 people attend a showing at the Marathon County Historical Society in Wausau, Wisconsin. We had to set an extra row of seats to accommodate the larger than expected turnout. We had a great exchange with them after, sharing stories of Captain Alwin's life and answering questions. There was even talk of raising funds to rent a large theater in Wausau so all the high school students in the area could see the film. We'd love that!

August 21 took us to the Onalaska Public Library where we again, filled the seats. Attendees and library staff were so kind and appreciative.

We attended the Madison Film Festival on August 24. Our film was one of 32 selected from a field of 600 submissions to represent at the festival. They had a nice turnout and we enjoyed talking with other filmmakers and audience members.

On August 27 we presented Honor In the Air at the Pittsville Community Library. Once again, additional chairs had to be set up to seat the larger than expected group of Veterans and other community members. We had a great discussion after the film, as well as delicious homemade refreshments. There's even talk of us coming back to show the film at the school.

Our next presentation won't be until September 28, but it will be in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina for the 68th Assault Helicopter Company. This is the company that Captain Alwin served with in Vietnam, and several of the members were interviewed for the film. We are so excite to share it with them, and we can't begin to express our appreciation for their support of our project, and their service to our country.

You can find our full list of confirmed presentations on our website's screenings page. If you're interested in scheduling a screening in your community, please send us a message through our contact form.
