On October 5, 2022, a beautiful fall evening we had the pleasure of sharing some stories about Captain Scott Alwin and our documentary film project, Honor In the Air, with about 18 members of Peplin VFW Post 8280. Pamela Alwin Fullerton and Penny Kleinhans-Alwin, pictured above, explained a bit about their family life growing up, and how it influenced Scott to dedicate his life to the protection of others. I answered a few questions about our progress on the documentary as well.
After we wrapped up the question and answer period, Commander Bob Dietel presented us with a donation of $500 from the Post to put toward the documentary budget. They also invited us to join them for dinner, which we did.
We are constantly humbled by the interest in our project, and the support of individuals and Veterans groups. We couldn't do it without you. Thank you!
